FREELY : The essence of double dutch freestyle between Japan and France

RYUTARO HIDAKA - FOUNDER

Ryutaro Hidaka, the founder of NorthRopes, is the first professional double dutch artist in Hokkaido, Japan.

His journey has shown that this discipline is capable of creating smiles everywhere in the world.

With the "Freely Steppers" concept he laid the foundations for a freestyle practice accessible to all, where every jump becomes a personal signature

Citation : "Double Dutch made me realize that a simple jump can create smiles, even in the middle of a country at war."

In 2026, the launch of Freely France marks a new step in offering a practice accessible to all levels in Europe.

We promote respect for styles and cultures.

Our mission is to inspire the younger generation.

FREELY REPRESENTATIVES IN FRANCE

The association Double Dutch Danse et Gymnastique, along with the professional team The Ropestylers, are appointed by Freely Japan to bring the concept to France.

Our mission is to build a strong and united Double Dutch community nationwide before expanding this dynamic across Europe.

This project is entirely voluntary, and all funds raised during these events are and will continue to be fully reinvested in the development of Freely.

Together, we promote this culture to provide young people with a unique space to grow and thrive to the rhythm of the ropes.
